SAP Business Objects Administrator
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 Months to start
Business Objects Upgrade and Support Consultant
• Maintenance and virtualization of Business Objects Enterprise environments including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, Ongoing Production Support – Monitoring and Backups
• Must have 3-5 years of expertise in BO system administration, should know end to end BO server architecture and integration with SAP BW system.
• Should be able to handle independently any BO related issues and escalations to SAP.
• Work with BO project team and SAP Support to drive Root Cause Analysis and resolution.
• Installation, upgrade, patching and performance tuning experience with the following SAP Business Objects 4.x Suite on Windows Platform
o SBOP BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE PLATFORM (SBOP ENTERPRISE)
o SBOP BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE MOBILE PLATFORM
o SBOP DASHBOARDS (XCELSIUS)
o CR FOR ENTERPRISE 4.0
o SBOP BI PLATFORM CLIENTS 4.0
o TOMCAT - configuration, tuning
o SBOP ANALYSIS MS OFFICE
o SBOP EXPLORER
o INTEGRATION WITH SAP BW 7.3 and NW Portals
• Setting up and working with Life Cycle Management setup and troubleshooting.
• Setting up Disaster Recovery, FRS replication and high availability.
• Experience with reviewing alerts, logs and monitoring of SBOP systems.
• Able to work scheduled off-hours and on-call as needed
• Proven ability to complete complex assignments under deadlines with minimal supervision
• Should be able to handle independently any BO related issues. Should have worked on performance related issues before
• Having experience configuring Alert monitoring for SBOP is a plus
• Having experience with integrating SBOP with SAP Solution Manager is a plus
• Having experience supporting BO Data Services 4.0 administration is a plus
